The Energy and Power Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Tuesday announced that online public hearings would be organized regularly every two months to ensure direct engagement with citizens and timely resolution of their complaints.

PESHAWAR, Mar 10 (APP): The Energy and Power Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Tuesday announced that online public hearings would be organized regularly every two months to ensure direct engagement with citizens and timely resolution of their complaints.
The assurance was given by Special Secretary Habib Ullah Arif at the conclusion of an online E-Khuli Kachehri (public hearing) held on Tuesday.
He said the initiative was aimed to provide the public with a direct platform to raise issues related to the department and its subsidiary institutions, adding that the step would further strengthen transparency and accountability in the department’s operations.
The special secretary also appreciated the efforts of Deputy Secretary Administration Wahab Khalil and officials of the department’s public relations and IT sections for successfully organizing the third online public hearing.
He expressed hope that officers and staff of the department would continue to work with dedication for the improvement of the institution and better public service delivery.
