Chairing a meeting of the Right to Services (RTS) Commission at the Chief Minister’s House, he stressed the need to make service delivery mechanisms more efficient, transparent and citizen-friendly.

He instructed officials to remove administrative bottlenecks and ensure immediate resolution of public complaints.

The CM also called for strengthening the RTS commission, emphasizing closer coordination with relevant departments.

He termed institutional integration of the RTS Commission essential for improved performance.

To enhance accessibility, he ordered early completion of the Commission’s digitization and the launch of an effective awareness campaign so citizens can benefit from available services.

The meeting decided to appoint commissioners as part of reforms aimed at strengthening the institution.

Officials informed the meeting that 80 services across 14 departments have already been notified under the Commission, while work is underway to add 89 more services from 15 additional departments.

A public feedback feature has also been introduced on the Chief Minister’s directives.

The Commission has been integrated with the Dastak platform and a mobile application has been launched, while citizens can also lodge complaints through email, phone calls and WhatsApp.

It was further shared that 742 complaints were resolved in 2025, showing a 150 percent increase compared to 2024.

Public outreach also rose significantly, reaching over 478,000 people in 2025 against 69,100 the previous year. Authorities also took action against eight departments over delays in service delivery.
