PESHAWAR, Mar 24 (APP): Hayatabad Medical Complex (HMC), a public sector hospital treated 7,656 patients in its emergency department and performed 505 major and minor surgeries during the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays, reflecting its strong service delivery and preparedness.
According to an official report, 14,385 patients also benefited from radiology and pathology services, while the hospital managed 207 road traffic accident cases and 14 aerial firing injuries. Additionally, 582 patients were admitted to various wards for further treatment.
All major departments, including emergency, ICUs, inpatient wards, diagnostic units and operation theatres, remained fully functional round the clock during Eid, ensuring uninterrupted healthcare services.
Special arrangements were made to handle the increased patient influx, including strengthened emergency services and well-organized duty rosters, which helped maintain smooth operations throughout the holidays.
The hospital administration appreciated the dedication of doctors, nurses, paramedics and support staff who continued to serve patients during Eid, prioritizing their professional responsibilities.
Reaffirming its commitment, HMC pledged to continue providing quality and patient-centered healthcare services to the public.
