PESHAWAR, Mar 20 (APP):Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Friday extended heartfelt greetings to the people of the province and the entire nation on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr (1st Shawwal 1447 AH), emphasizing unity, peace, compassion, and collective responsibility.
In his Eid message, the Governor said that Eid-ul-Fitr is one of the great blessings of Allah Almighty that teaches patience, piety, sacrifice, and brotherhood.
He added that the festival, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan, reminds believers to express gratitude to Allah, extend support to the underprivileged and promote love and harmony in society.
He conveyed warm Eid wishes to the people of merged districts, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and across the country, praying that the occasion brings happiness, blessings and prosperity for all.
Faisal Karim Kundi stressed that in the prevailing circumstances, the nation must demonstrate unity, tolerance and a sense of responsibility.
He said maintaining peace is a shared duty and urged citizens to cooperate with security forces and play their role in ensuring a peaceful environment.
The Governor also highlighted that Eid is a time to remember the sacrifices of martyrs, whose loved ones laid down their lives for the peace and stability of the country.
He called on people to support the families of martyrs and extend help to the poor and deserving so that the joy of Eid could be shared with everyone.
He prayed that Allah Almighty showers His blessings upon the nation, grants peace and stability to Pakistan and enables its people to move forward with unity and harmony.
