The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Excise Taxation and Narcotics Control Department has intensified its campaign against tax defaulters, sealing multiple property units in Mardan and Kohat during enforcement operations.

PESHAWAR, Mar 25 (APP): The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Excise Taxation and Narcotics Control Department has intensified its campaign against tax defaulters, sealing multiple property units in Mardan and Kohat during enforcement operations.
According to official details, in Mardan, action was carried out in Takht Bhai under the supervision of Muhammad Khalid, where several defaulting property units were sealed for non-payment of taxes.
Similarly, in Kohat, a special campaign is underway against major defaulters on the directives of Rehmanuddin. Dedicated teams have been formed to ensure recovery of outstanding dues.
Officials said that despite repeated notices, certain property owners failed to clear their liabilities, prompting legal action. During operations in wards 1, 3 and 5 of Kohat, multiple defaulting units were sealed.
The department has urged property owners to pay their dues on time to avoid legal action and inconvenience, reaffirming its commitment to ensuring tax compliance across the province.
