Engr Amir Muqam offers Eid prayer at Shangla

PESHAWAR, Mar 21 (APP):Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs,Gilgit-Baltistan and SAFRON, and President of Pakistan Muslim League (N) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Engineer Amir Muqam on Saturday offered Eid-ul-Fitr prayers at Puran in his native district Shangla.

Various political and social personalities besides civil society participated in the Eid prayer along with Federal Minister Engineer Amir Muqam.

Engineer Amir Muqam offered special prayers for the country’s development, security, and unity of the Muslim Ummah, and also prayed for addressing the challenges faced by the Muslim world.

He mingled with people after Eid prayer. The people congratulated him on Eid.

Engr Amir Muqam said Eid-ul-Fitr is a blessed day of sharing love, brotherhood, and collective happiness and urged people to include the needy and underprivileged in happiness on Eid.

He extended heartfelt Eid-ul-Fitr greetings to the entire Muslim Ummah and prayed for relief from the problems faced by the Muslims world.

The Minister also prayed for the oppressed people of Palestine and Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, who are facing great hardships in their struggle for freedom and basic rights.

Engineer Amir Muqam paid tribute to the civilians, Pakistan Armed Forces, law enforcement agencies, and security personnel who were martyred in the war against terrorism, and expressed solidarity with their families.
