Effective measures afoot for Board’s exam: Chairman BISE Dera

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Mar 28 (APP): Chairman Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Dera Professor Dr. Ihsanullah has said that effective measures have been made to conduct the annual matriculation examinations in a transparent manner.
Talking to the media here Saturday, he said under the Board, the exam will commence on March 31, 2026, while practical exams will begin on April 24, 2026.
 He added that a total of 180 examination centers had been established across Dera Ismail Khan, Tank, Upper and Lower Waziristan. Of these, he said 68 centers are designated for female students and 112 for male students. To ensure transparency and discipline during the examination process, more than 1,200 teachers have been assigned examination duties, he told.
The Chairman further said that comprehensive security arrangements had been put in place. In this regard, formal letters have been sent to the Commissioner of Dera and the District Police Officer, along with other relevant authorities. To curb cheating, CCTV cameras had been installed in examination halls, and a central control room has been set up to monitor all activities, he added.
Dr. Ihsanullah also said that the examinations would be conducted under a cluster system, and equal opportunities would be provided to both government employees and fresh graduates for invigilation duties. Additionally, an e-marking system has been introduced for Physics, Chemistry, and English to ensure greater transparency and efficiency in the results process, he added.
The Chairman reaffirmed the Board’s commitment to improving the examination system and completely eliminating cheating through all possible measures.
