Dera police to launch full scale crackdown against criminal elements

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Mar 25 (APP):The district police have decided to launch a large-scale crackdown to improve the law and order situation in the district.

In this regard, according to the spokesman, Regional Police Officer (RPO) Syed Ashfaq Anwar chaired a meeting at the Range Office attended by senior police officials from the city and Paharpur circles.

During the meeting, a detailed review of the overall crime situation in the district was conducted, with particular focus on crimes against persons, crimes against property, robbery, highway robbery, and especially theft of PESCO material.

The RPO made it clear that no leniency would be shown towards individuals involved in criminal activities.

He directed that immediate and effective action be taken against previously convicted criminals, their
facilitators, and those providing them support.

Orders were also issued to form special teams and initiate the crackdown without delay. He said that the
writ of the law must be ensured at all costs and that criminals must be brought to justice.

He warned that any negligence or laxity would not be tolerated and strict action would be taken against responsible officials.
