9th and 10th  grade annual exams begin across KP

The annual examinations for 9th and 10th grade students have officially commenced across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including the provincial capital, Peshawar.

PESHAWAR, Mar 31 (APP):The annual examinations for 9th and 10th grade students have officially commenced across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including the provincial capital, Peshawar.
According to official sources on Tuesday, a total of 917,532 students are appearing in the examinations under eight educational boards across the province. To facilitate the process, authorities have established 3,396 examination centers.
Security and administrative arrangements have been put in place, with 23,708 personnel deployed to ensure smooth conduct of the exams. Among the total examination centers, 1,808 are designated for male students, while 1,133 for female students.
To maintain transparency and prevent cheating, CCTV cameras have been installed at examination centers. Additionally, Section 144 has been imposed outside exam halls to restrict unauthorized gatherings and ensure discipline.
Meanwhile, under the Mardan Board, the examinations have also begun with hundreds of students participating. Strict security measures and effective management have been implemented at examination centers.
Teachers have appreciated the introduction of the cluster system, stating that it will help enhance transparency and significantly reduce the chances of cheating.
They expressed confidence that the examinations will be conducted in a fair and organized manner across the province.
