AJK PP calls on journalist delegation to discuss their issues
MUZAFFARABAD, Mar 28 (APP): Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir, Faisal Mumtaz Rathore has said that the government has been providing facilities to state newspapers and will continue to do so in the future.
He expressed these views during a meeting with a delegation that called on him under the leadership of Secretary Finance of All Kashmir Newspapers Society Ajaz Khan here Saturday.
Reiterating his government’s commitment to resolve the problems faced by the journalist community, the PM said that steps would be taken to promote press freedom.
During the meeting, financial difficulties faced by newspapers and issues confronting journalists were discussed in detail. Chief Editor of daily Jannat Nazir and Secretary Information of the Kashmir Journalists Forum Ali Hasnain Naqvi were also present in the meeting.
