MIRPUR (AJK), Nov 4 (APP): Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister (PM) Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq has said that the size of the administrative structure should correspond to actual requirements, as unnecessary posts and unjustified promotions have disrupted the balance of the system.
According to APP correspondent, he directed that appointments and promotions be made strictly on a need basis to ensure an efficient and functional administrative setup, and that rationalization be carried out wherever necessary.
He informed the meeting that he had already surrendered all discretionary posts of the Prime Minister’s Secretariat and reaffirmed his commitment that all appointments and promotions would be made in the spirit of institutional improvement and public service.
He further said that the present government has activated the administrative system, removed its shortcomings, and prioritized collective development.
The Prime Minister received a detailed briefing on service rules, appointments (both contractual and permanent), promotion quotas, and rationalization across various departments on this occasion.
