MUZAFFARABAD, Nov 21 (APP):Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Raja Faisal Mumtaz Rathore has formally approved the allocation of portfolios to the newly elected cabinet, assigning official responsibilities to all ministers and advisers.
According to a government notification, Mian Abdul Waheed, the most senior minister, has been given the portfolios of Law, Parliamentary Affairs, and Human Rights. Javed Ayub has been assigned Wildlife, Fisheries, and the Muzaffarabad Development Authority.
Qasim Majeed will serve as Minister for Finance and Land Revenue, while Bazil Ali Naqvi has been given Public Health and Population Welfare. Dewan Ali Chughtai will head Elementary and Secondary Education, and Malik Zafar has been assigned Higher Education.
Javed Budhanvi has received the Food Department, whereas Zia-ul-Qamar will oversee Communication and Public Works.
Chaudhry Arshad has been given the portfolio of Energy and Water Resources, while Sardar Muhammad Hussain has been assigned Ushar & Zakat and Women Development. Chaudhry Ali Shan Soni will lead Agriculture, Livestock, Irrigation, Dairy, and Small Industries.
Chaudhry Muhammad Ikhlaq has been allocated Revenue and Custodian, and Aamir Yasin will handle Local Government and Rural Development.
Chaudhry Yasir Sultan has been assigned Physical Planning and Housing, while Chaudhry Rasheed will oversee the Power Development Organization (PDO).
Muhammad Rafiq Nair has been given Religious Affairs and Auqaf, and Faheem Akhtar Rabbani will head Tourism and Archaeology. Ms Nabeela Ayub has been appointed as Minister for Kashmir Cause, Arts, and Languages. Sardar Muhammad Saghir has been named Advisor for Sports and Culture, and
Fahad Yaqoob has been appointed Advisor for Industry, Commerce, Labour, Ozone, Standards & Super Legalization, and Printing Press.
