Kingdom MMA Championship launches in Riyadh

Riyadh, Jan 23 (SPA/APP): The Kingdom Mixed Martial Arts Championship, organized by the Saudi Mixed Martial Arts Federation, officially begins on Friday at Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium in Al-Malaz, Riyadh.
The event serves as a premier national platform, bringing together male and female athletes from across the Kingdom to compete in a wide range of age and weight divisions.
The championship features extensive categories for younger athletes, starting with the junior division (ages 12-13) across six weight classes from 34 kg to over 57.1 kg.
The youth division (ages 14-15) follows with seven classes, while the older youth category (ages 16-17) competes in seven classes ranging from 52.2 kg to the 120 kg heavyweight limit.
In the senior ranks, the adult category (ages 18 and over) features 10 distinct weight classes for both men and women.
These classes range from the strawweight division at 52.1 kg to the super-heavyweight division, exceeding 120 kg, ensuring a professional and competitive environment for the Kingdom’s top martial arts talent.
