China supports Nepal’s development of friendly relations with neighbouring countries: FM

BEIJING, March 29 (APP):China on Thursday welcomed Nepal’s Prime Minister K.P. Oli statement of pursuing an independent and balanced foreign policy and maintaining friendly relations with the neighbouring countries.
“China appreciates the Nepalese government’s pursuit of an independent foreign policy and supports Nepal’s development of friendly and cooperative relations with neighbouring countries,” Spokesperson of Chinese Foreign Ministry Lu Kang said during his regular press briefing here.
He said, China, Nepal, and India are important neighbours to each other and hoped that the three parties could work together to strengthen positive interaction and achieve common development.
Recently, Nepali Prime Minister Oli held a briefing for foreign diplomatic envoys and explained the foreign policy of the Nepalese government.
