China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway to make country key logistics hub

BISHKEK, March 6 (Kabar/APP) : The China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway could turn Kyrgyzstan into a key link in international logistics, President Sadyr Japarov said at a national meeting in Bishkek.
The head of state emphasized the strategic importance of the project.
“Alongside the development of road infrastructure, we have launched a project that will transform Kyrgyzstan’s geopolitical role. Full-scale construction work is currently underway along the entire route of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway. This is not merely a transport corridor — it is a strategic artery capable of reshaping the economic map of Eurasia and turning our country into a key link in international logistics,” the president said.
A national meeting to summarize the results of 2025 was held in Bishkek with the participation of President Sadyr Zhaparov.
The event was also attended by members of the Cabinet of Ministers, heads of government agencies, presidential plenipotentiary representatives in the regions, the mayors of Bishkek and Osh.
