ISLAMABAD, Jan 10 (APP): Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar on Wednesday conveyed his heartiest felicitations to Tshering Tobgay on the victory of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the parliamentary elections in Bhutan.
The prime minister, on X, further posted “Looking forward to greater cooperation between Pakistan and Bhutan under his leadership.”
According to foreign media reports, People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Bhutan is set to form a new government after winning the parliamentary elections.
Tshering Tobgay, 58, leader of PDP, who served as prime minister from 2013 to 2018, is set to assume the country’s premier office for a second five-year term.
