Belarus to host China book exhibition on 7 April

MINSK, Apr 6 (BelTA/APP): The book exhibition “China – Cradle of Great Discoveries” will go on display at the National Library of Belarus on 7 April, BelTA learned from the library.

The exhibition will open at the Chinese Book Center. It will showcase a multifaceted picture of China’s scientific and technological development. The display will feature publications that detail the technology and cultural significance of paper, printing, gunpowder, and the compass.

“The beautifully illustrated books deserve special attention, as they make complex topics both accessible and engaging. The fundamental works on display offer insight into the evolution of Chinese scientific thought as a whole – from a classic introduction to 3,000 years of invention history to contemporary research,” the library added.

The exhibition will run through 4 May.
