Belarus, Oman introduce mutual visa-free travel`

MINSK, Mar 17 (BelTA/APP): Belarus and Oman have introduced mutual visa-free travel, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The agreement between the government of Belarus and the government of Oman on the mutual visa waiver for holders of ordinary national passports came into force on 17 March.

This step continues the agreements reached between the Belarusian president and the Sultan of Oman, aimed at increasing tourist, educational, and business flows between the two countries.

Citizens of Belarus and Oman may enter, exit, transit, and stay in the territory of both states without visas for up to 30 days and for a total of no more than 90 days in a calendar year.

The validity period of the passport must be at least six months.
