The Pakistani-American Law Enforcement Society of the New York Police Department (NYPD) Wednesday organized the Pakistani Heritage and Resolution Day, saying the event showcased community pride, cultural celebration and public service.

NEW YORK, Mar 26 (APP): The Pakistani-American Law Enforcement Society of the New York Police Department (NYPD) Wednesday organized the Pakistani Heritage and Resolution Day, saying the event showcased community pride, cultural celebration and public service.
Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, along with the Consul General of Pakistan in New York, Aamer Ahmed Atozai, attended the function which took place at NYPD Headquarters.
Also attending were high ranking police officials, a large number of police men and women as well as Pakistani-American law enforcement personnel, their families, and prominent members of the Pakistani American community.
In his remark, Ambassador Sheikh highlighted the contributions of Pakistani American officers in maintaining peace and security across New York’s diverse communities.
The ambassador commended their professionalism, dedication, and unwavering commitment to public service. He also appreciated their humanitarian initiatives in Pakistan, noting that such efforts reflect a strong bond with their homeland and a deep sense of global responsibility.
The Ambassador described them as true representatives of Pakistan who embody the values of unity, resilience, and pride in their cultural heritage.
Speaking on the occasion, Consul General Aamer Ahmed Atozai also praised the role of Pakistani American officers in strengthening community relations and upholding law and order in New York City.
He appreciated their efforts in promoting Pakistan’s rich cultural heritage and acknowledged their continued engagement in welfare activities both in the United States and Pakistan.
