Wheat procurement drive reviewed

SARGODHA, Apr 04 (APP):A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Commissioner Hafiz Shaukat Ali regarding the wheat

procurement campaign.

Deputy Commissioner Hussain Ahmed Raza Chaudhry and Additional Commissioner Coordination Ashfaq-ur-Rehman, besides Deputy Commissioners of Khushab, Mianwali and Bhakkar, participated through video link. Director Agriculture Extension, Director Excise, Deputy Director Food, officers of the Agriculture Department and representatives of farmers were present.

The commissioner said  the divisional and district administrations are on board to provide facilities to the wheat farmers. He said that record wheat production is expected this year. He said that arrangements for storage at wheat procurement centers are complete.
