SARGODHA, Aug 09 (APP):The University of Sargodha has procured two new buses to provide convenient transportation services to students from Kot Moman and Jhawarian.
According to spokesman for University of Sargodha Muhammad Usman, these buses have been handed over to the transport department and will commence pick-and-drop services for students from September 2.
The acquisition of these buses is a result of the special interest and directives of the Vice Chancellor of the University of Sargodha, Professor Dr. Qaisar Abbas, with the aim of facilitating transportation for students from Kot Moman and Jhawarian.
Transport Officer Syed Tanveer Hussain said that with the addition of these two new buses, the total number of buses for student transportation has reached 21. The buses serve students in seven tehsils of Sargodha.
He added that in line with the directives of Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Qaisar Abbas, old buses have also been upgraded to ensure safe travel for students.
Students expressed their gratitude to Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Qaisar Abbas for providing transport facilities to students from Jhawarian and Kot Moman tehsil.
