LAHORE, Oct 27 (APP):The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore observed Kashmir Black Day to express solidarity with people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
A rally was organized on this occasion, led by Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Shahid Munir.
The rally started from the Vice Chancellor’s Office and concluded at the Auditorium Complex.
A large number of faculty members, employees, and students participated enthusiastically.
The participants carried placards inscribed with slogans in support of Kashmiri freedom and against Indian oppression, and raised passionate slogans for justice and peace in Kashmir.
Addressing the participants, Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Shahid Munir said that peace in South Asia is deeply linked with the freedom of Kashmir. He stated that on October 27, 1947, India illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, and this unlawful occupation continues to this day.
