RAWALPINDI, Nov 03 (APP): Westridge Police have arrested a two-member gang allegedly involved in a series of street crimes and thefts in different areas, recovering stolen cash, valuables, and weapons used in criminal activities.
According to police, a special team from Westridge Police Station carried out operation and apprehended the suspects who had been operating in various localities and committing street robberies.
During the operation, the police recovered Rs12,500 in stolen cash, a drill machine, a pen heater, and a weapon reportedly used in several of their criminal acts.
SP Potohar commended police team and said that the arrests were made through effective investigation and timely action by the police team.
He emphasized that the accused will be presented in court with solid evidence to ensure strict legal proceedings against them.
“ It is prime duty of police to protect the lives and properties of citizens.
Those involved in depriving people of their valuables will not escape the grip of law,” SP Potohar added.
