FAISALABAD, Oct 02 (APP):Mamon Kanjan police claimed to have arrested two accused of torturing a student and posting its video on social media.
A police spokesman said here on Monday that six accused, including Shehzad, Ali, Allah Ditta, etc. had abducted a matric student, Hasan, 14, from Chak No.497-GB and took him to an unknown location where they subjected him to severe torture before his release. The accused also made videos of torture and spread it through social media to defame the victim.
Receiving a complaint, City Police Officer (CPO) Usman Akram Gondal directed SP Sadar Division Shams-ul-Haq to probe the matter and submit a report at the earliest. The police registered a case and arrested accused Ali Raza and Usman. An investigation is ongoing.
