GUJRAT, Mar 26 (APP): Assistant Commissioner Kharian Ahmed Sher Gondal, along with Chief Officer Municipal Committee Lalamusa Tanveer Abbas, launched a tree plantation drive on the Main GT Road, here on Thursday.
Under the campaign, saplings are being planted at pre-identified locations. Teams of Green Lalamusa, Municipal Committee and Suthra Punjab are taking part in the plantation activity.
Speaking on the occasion, the Assistant Commissioner directed officials to ensure proper care of the plants along with plantation, adding that the initiative aims to make the city greener and more beautiful.
