Traders pay tribute to Quaid-e-Azam on birth anniversary

RAWALPINDI, Dec 26 (APP): The Commercial Market Traders Association held a ceremony on Friday to mark the birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, paying tribute to the Founder of Pakistan’s services and principles.
The event was attended by the Association’s President Malik Sohail Awan, General Secretary Raja Zafar Yousaf, Joint Secretary Tahir Ismail, Vice President Raja Rashid Mahmood, and other office-bearers and members of the business community.
During the ceremony, a cake was cut to mark the occasion, and speakers highlighted Quaid-e-Azam’s tireless political and constitutional struggle for the creation of Pakistan in 1947.
Addressing the gathering, Malik Sohail Awan said that Quaid-e-Azam embodied integrity, discipline and the supremacy of law, principles that continue to guide the nation. He added that the business community was contributing effectively to the country’s development, prosperity and economic stability by following the Founder’s teachings.
The ceremony concluded with a special prayer for the security, stability and progress of the country and its people.
