HYDERABAD, Nov 16 (APP): On the instructions of President Saleem Memon, a delegation of Hyderabad Chamber of Small Traders & Small Industry (HCSTSI) led by Vice President Shan Seghal attended the one-day KEI Job Fair Hyderabad, organized by Khadim-e-Insaniyat, ICMA International, and PASHA. A delegation of the Hyderabad SITE Association of Trade & Industry also participated alongside the Chamber, led by Senior Vice Chairman Aamir Shahab.
Speaking to the media on the occasion, Vice President Shan Seghal highly appreciated the efforts of Javed Motiwala, Chairman Khadim-e-Insaniyat, and Hussain Ajmeri, Joint Director ICMA International Hyderabad, for successfully organizing the job fair. He shared that more than 65 national and international companies had set up recruitment stalls, while thousands of youth from across Sindh participated reflecting the seriousness of young people in seeking employment.
Shan Seghal stated that more than 60% of Pakistan’s population consists of youth, yet employment opportunities remain extremely limited. The overwhelming number of young participants at the job fair clearly indicates that rising unemployment has become a matter of deep concern for the Government of Pakistan and requires immediate and effective measures.
He further added that the government must focus on industrial development and adopt long-term sustainable planning to strengthen national industries so they can generate employment for hundreds of thousands of young people. He advised the youth that in the modern era, academic degrees alone are not enough; skills development is essential for a better future. He also emphasized the importance of utilizing online platforms to explore employment opportunities.
Chairman Khadim-e-Insaniyat, Javed Motiwala, said that their mission is to provide dignified employment opportunities to the youth of Sindh. The KEI Job Fair aims to create a direct link between young graduates and the industry. He expressed satisfaction that thousands of students benefited from this platform.
ICMA Joint Director, Hussain Ajmeri, said that ICMA has always been committed to preparing the youth according to market requirements. The large turnout of participants is highly encouraging, and ICMA will continue organizing such initiatives in the future.
Members of the HCSTSI delegation included Executive Committee Member Shahid Qaimkhani, Sharif Punjani, and Secretary General Furqan Ahmed Lodhi, while SITE Association Vice Chairman Esar Kumar was also present. The event was attended by a large number of political and social leaders, senior government officials, chairpersons of educational boards, principals of colleges and universities, industrialists, business leaders, and heads of various public and private institutions
