PESHAWAR, Jun 12 (APP):A delegation of students from Supreme Law College visited the Supreme Court Peshawar Registry, where they had the privilege of witnessing real-time court proceedings, including a demonstration of the advanced video-link digitized court system.
Following the court visit, an insightful interactive session was held with Judges Ms. Justice Musarrat Hilali, Justice Shakeel Ahmad, and Mr. Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim.
The students expressed deep inspiration from Justice Musarrat Hilali, who notably emphasized the significant role and greater participation required from female lawyers, urging students to ambitiously pursue their professional goals.
Justice Shakeel Ahmad enlightened the students about the importance of legal education integrated with Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence.
He passionately highlighted the need for lawyers to contribute actively to Pakistan’s legal landscape, underscoring the gratitude owed to the nation.
Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim praised the students’ choice of the legal profession, encouraging them towards excellence in advocacy and judicial services.
Students conveyed their appreciation for Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim’s influential role in addressing backlogs in criminal cases during his tenure as Chief Justice of the Peshawar High Court.
Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim also underscored the commendable contributions of female district judges across Pakistan.
