SUKKUR, Jan 01 (APP):Sukkur Mayor and Sindh government spokesperson Barrister Arsalan Sheikh has said that one hundred thousand trees will be planted in Sukkur in the new year 2026 to reduce the effects of climate change.
Talking to APP here on Thursday, h said that tree planting will be monitored digitally and new vehicles have been added for the irrigation of green belts under Sukkur Municipal Corporation.
Mayor Sukkur Barrister Arsalan Sheikh said the aim is to build a green and safe Sukkur, for which we are taking steps day by day.
He further said that Sukkur Municipal Corporation (SMC) will continue to work for the betterment of the city in the new year as well.
