SSP Operations Qazi reviews security at churches across Capital

ISLAMABAD, Nov 23 (APP):Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police intensified security measures on Sunday as Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Qazi Ali Raza visited multiple churches across the federal capital to review on-ground arrangements ahead of upcoming religious activities.
An official told APP that the visits were carried out in line with the special directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, who has ordered foolproof security for all worship places in the city.
During the inspections, the SSP Qazi met police officers and personnel deployed at the sites, examined duty performance, and issued directions to further strengthen checking procedures, enhance vigilance, and ensure complete alertness during services and peak visiting hours.
He also reviewed security at entry and exit gates, parking areas, perimeter deployment and overall implementation of the church-specific security plan.
The SSP Qazi held meetings with church administration members, assuring them that ICT Police remains fully committed to protecting the lives and property of all citizens without discrimination. He said that effective cooperation between police and the public is essential for maintaining peace and stability in the federal capital./
