HYDERABAD, Dec 31 (APP):SSP Hyderabad Adeel Hussain Chandio on Wednesday visited St. Philip Church, where a special program was organized in connection with Christmas celebrations in collaboration with the Civil Society Support Program and Peace Committee SSP Office Hyderabad
Abdul Wahid Sangrai of Civil Society Support Program welcomed the SSP Hyderabad.
Bishop Kaleem Jan, Dr. Daniel Fayyaz and Pastor Jamil also participated in the program on this occasion.
Other distinguished guests at the event included Deputy Speaker Sindh Assembly, Naveed Anthony, Additional Commissioner Manzoor Hussain, DSP Vinod Kumar, MPA Sabir Qaimkhani, LAS Advocate Danish, while Inspector Asjad Gujjar and ASI Shahid of Peace Committee SSP Office.
On this occasion SSP Hyderabad Adeel Hussain Chandio said that Pakistan is a land of peace, tolerance and mutual respect for followers of all religions.
He felicitated the Christian community on the occasion of Christmas and expressed his resolve that the law enforcement agencies are always working to protect minority communities and promote religious harmony.
Other speakers emphasized that such programs promote love, brotherhood and mutual trust in the society and this is the strong foundation of peace and stability.
