PESHAWAR, Jan 04 (APP):At least six persons died, and five others were injured when the roof of a dilapidated house suddenly caved in on Sunday in Charsadda district.
Police said the tragic incident occurred at Khairabad Matta in the tehsil Shabqadar, where a house collapsed.
Resultantly, six people died on the spot and five others injured, including women and girls.
Considering the severity of the accident, additional teams from Rescue 1122 Shabqadar, as well as from Charsadda Station 11 and Station 22, were promptly moved to the site.
Rescue 1122 personnel, using professional skills and extreme caution, removed the rubble and rescued the affected individuals, who were given timely medical assistance and shifted to nearby hospitals.
Those who lost their lives include daughter of Shiraz Khan, aged 3 years; daughter of Rais, aged 12 years, wife of Amroz, aged 25 years and three daughters of Amroz.
The injured include, wife of Hakim, aged 45 years, daughter of Fazal Daud, aged 17 years, daughter of Adnan, aged 6 years, daughter of Fazal Daud, aged 17 years and wife of Shiraz, aged 30 years.
