FAISALABAD, Jan 03 (APP):City Police Officer (CPO) Sahibzada Bilal Umar praised the police force for its professional services and said that a significant decline in crime rates was witnessed in Faisalabad during the past year.
In a statement here on Saturday, he highlighted the success of police department in safeguarding public lives and property by ensuring a safe environment for the citizens of Faisalabad.
He said that Faisalabad has witnessed 40% reduction in property-related crimes while personal crimes were reduced by 20% due to strenuous efforts of the police department in 2025.
These significant reductions are a testament to the effectiveness of law enforcement strategies employed by the force throughout 2025, he added.
He said that the successful interventions in addressing crimes against women and children also stand out as numerous arrests were made, leading to convictions and legal action through the courts.
