Showroom employees held for motorcycle theft

RAWALPINDI, Feb 06 (APP):The Waris Khan Police have arrested two motorcycle showroom employees for their alleged involvement in the theft of motorcycles, police said on Friday.
According to a spokesman for the Rawalpindi Police, investigations revealed that the suspects, who were employed at the motorcycle showroom, were themselves involved in stealing motorcycles and selling them illegally.
During the operation, the police recovered five stolen motorcycles, cash amounting to Rs 250,000 obtained from the sale of the motorcycles, and other related items from the arrested suspects.
The spokesman said the suspects were taken into custody following an investigation and further inquiries were underway.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Rawal Saad Arshad said those who deprived citizens of their valuable assets could not escape the law. He said the police would continue action against criminal elements involved in such offences.
