Shopkeepers fined for selling substandard milk
MARDAN, Jul 10 (APP):Assistant Commissioner Mardan, Ayesha Tahir along with the Assistant Director of Halal Food Authority, conducted raids on milk shops and discarded a large quantity of adulterated milk.
According to the district administration, the team including the assistant director Hala Food Authority visited several shops and tested samples of milk with the help of a mobile lab, finding a large quantity of milk substandard.
As a result, heavy fines were imposed on the violators and adulterated milk was destroyed.
The AC appealed to people to contact the district control room at 0937-9230048 in case of any complaint to protect human lives and take action against the violators.
