HYDERABAD, Nov 25 (APP): The provincial minister for women development Shaheena Sher Ali has directed special awareness sessions in connection with the global 16 days of activism campaign against harassment and gender-based violence in the industrial areas of Kotri.
The initiative aims to educate female employees about workplace harassment laws, particularly their rights and protections under the protection against harassment act.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, the provincial minister said the sessions were intended not only to raise awareness but also to empower women. “Every woman should be fully aware of her rights and the process of filing complaints with the Women Complaint Cell,” she emphasized.
The In-charge of the Complaint Cell Jamshoro Syeda Quratul Ain Shah said, she would coordinate with labour department officials and unions to finalize the schedule for the sessions at the earliest, ensuring that maximum women receive essential information and guidance.
