SUKKUR, Oct 27 (APP):The Culture Department of Sindh, in collaboration with the Sukkur Arts Council on Monday organized a seminar on the occasion of Kashmir Black Day, at the Seengar Ali Saleem Auditorium.
Addressing the seminar, Deputy Commissioner (DC), Sukkur, Nadir Shahzad Khan said that the people of Pakistan stand in solidarity with their Kashmiri brothers and sisters and will continue to raise their voice for their rights. He prayed that occupied Kashmir would soon become a part of Pakistan.
Director Libraries Sukkur, Imtiaz Ali Memon said that the people of Kashmir have been fighting against Indian atrocities for decades and their struggle for freedom will continue. The seminar and exhibition were organized to educate the youth about the Kashmir freedom struggle.
The President of Sukkur Arts Council, Mumtaz Bukhari said that the people of Pakistan stand in solidarity with the oppressed nations of the world, including the Kashmiris. A large number of citizens, students, and artists participated in the seminar and exhibition, where they paid tribute to the Kashmiri people and expressed solidarity with them.
Earlier, a photo and painting exhibition was held at the Mastour Bukhari Art and Heritage Museum, organized by the Rahimdad Khan Moulai Shidad Public Library and Arts Department.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Sukkur, Nadir Shahzad Khan, who appreciated the artwork and paintings created by children on the occasion of Kashmir Day.
