MIRPURKHAS, Dec 1 (APP): Agriculture Extension Department of Mirpurkhas organized a seminar at the Ajrak Club Hall (Public Library) to discuss the registration of the Benazir Hari Card and the Sindh Wheat Growers Support Program 2025.
According to APP correspondent, MNA Mir Munawar Ali Khan Talpur attended the event as the chief guest, along with Deputy Commissioner Subhash Chander, Director Agriculture Muhammad Usman Jageerani, and other officials.
Talpur stated that the Government of Sindh has taken an important initiative to provide relief to farmers, launching community-level Benazir Hari Card registration and the Sindh Wheat Program. The government is also introducing the Farmer Support Program 2025 for small growers owning 1–25 acres of agricultural land.
Officials of the Agriculture Department explained that the registration process is being carried out through an online mobile application, with the Revenue Department verifying land records to facilitate wheat growers.
A total of 17,155 farmers have been registered under the Sindh Wheat Growers Support Program 2025, with 12,338 application forms received for the Benazir Hari Card.
Government of Sindh is providing financial assistance equivalent to one bag of DAP fertilizer and two bags of Urea fertilizer per acre to small farmers owning 1–25 acres of land. The registration process for the Benazir Hari Card is ongoing, with verification underway.
