QUETTA, Jul 20 (APP):Advisor to the Chief Minister Balochistan on Women Development, Dr Rubaba Khan Buledi, has strongly condemned the brutal killing of a young girl and boy as seen in a widely circulated video on social media. Terming the incident a heinous crime against humanity, she said it violates both societal norms and the fundamental principles of state protection for women.
In a statement issued here, Dr Buledi noted that Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, immediately took notice of the incident. As a result, the victims have been identified, and law enforcement agencies have obtained vital information about the suspects involved.
Dr Buledi emphasized that this is not an ordinary double homicide. Given the gravity of the crime, a case has been registered under the Anti-Terrorism Act (ATA), reflecting the government’s commitment to treating the incident with the seriousness it deserves.
“This case is a test of our justice system and our resolve as a government,” she stated. “Every legal and judicial measure will be taken to ensure justice is served. Bringing the culprits to justice is not only a state obligation but also a cornerstone of social justice.”
Dr Rubaba Buledi reaffirmed that the government has zero tolerance for violence against women and remains committed to safeguarding their dignity, security, and access to justice at every level.
