DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Jul 16 (APP):Regional Police Officer (RPO) Dera Syed Ashfaq Anwar on Wednesday conducted a detailed inspection of security arrangements along the CPEC motorway route from Abdul Khel to Yarik Interchange.
Accompanied by District Police Officer Sajjad Ahmed Sahibzada, SP Paharpur Asad Ali Shah, and SP Motorway Atiq-ur-Rehman, the RPO reviewed measures in place to ensure the safety of commuters.
During the visit, he met with officers of the Motorway Police and District Elite Force at the Yarik Interchange and presided over a high-level meeting focused on strengthening security protocols.
The Motorway Police provided a comprehensive briefing on current arrangements, after which key decisions were made to enhance coordination and response capacity.
RPO Anwar emphasized that ensuring public safety and securing the CPEC route is a top priority, directing joint patrols and full utilization of available resources.
He further instructed the DPO Dera to intensify search and strike operations in surrounding areas, monitor suspicious activity, and neutralize any potential threats through coordinated action with allied forces.
