KOHAT, Feb 11 (APP):A passenger coach traveling from Jand to Bannu on Wednesday met with an accident near Ghoruzai on the bypass road in Tehsil Gumbat leaving four passengers — including two women seriously
injured.
According to Rescue 1122 sources , the incident occurred due to
over speeding.
Upon receiving the emergency call, the medical teams from Rescue 1122 Kohat responded promptly, providing first aid to
all injured passengers before shifting them to the Rural Health Centre
(RHC) Gumbat.
They said that one of the injured women was later referred to the District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ) Kohat due to her
critical condition.
The injured had been identified as a 50-year-old woman, resident of Jand, a 55-year-old woman, resident of Jand, Anar Khan, 55, resident of Waziristan, Sarfaraz, 30, resident of Karak, Karam Khan, 53 years resident of Jand
and Hameedullah, 65 years old resident of Bannu.
The coach was en-route from Jand to Bannu at the time of the accident, they added.
