Rescue 1122 SW releases annual emergency performance report 2025

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Dec 30 (APP): Rescue 1122 South Waziristan (Upper and Lower) has released its annual review of emergency services for 2025.
According to the report, the rescue team responded promptly to a total of 481 emergencies throughout the year.
Of these, 371 emergencies were medical cases, falls, and deliveries, while 22 were road traffic accidents, 28 fire incidents, 29 cases of assault or gunshot injuries, 3 building collapses, 5 bomb blasts, and 23 other emergency incidents.
During 2025, 27 patients died while being transported, but the rescue team successfully provided professional and timely assistance to 457 patients, saving their lives.
During the year, the Rescue control room received 23,025 calls, including 3,094 informational or dropped calls and 19,450 fake or unnecessary calls.
Additionally, the rescue team provided initial medical aid to 624 patients and safely transferred them outside the district to Dera Ismail Khan, transferred 15 patients within the district, and shifted 609 patients outside the district, bringing the total number of patients transported via ambulance to 713.
The report highlights Rescue 1122 South Waziristan’s year-long efforts and commitment to providing timely assistance to the public, demonstrating their dedication to saving lives even in challenging conditions.
