LAHORE, Jan 05 (APP):The Punjab government has taken important decisions to deal with flood risks and restore past losses this year.
The provincial cabinet has directed that the flood 2025 damage restoration projects be completed soon and work on them should be done quickly.
The cabinet has also set a deadline for the completion of post-flood rehabilitation projects so that the affected infrastructure can be restored as soon as possible and facilities can be provided to the public.
In addition, the recommendations of the Rivers Department have also been approved to deal with flood losses, under which practical steps will be taken to prevent such natural hazards and losses in the future.
