RCB organizes Kashmir solidarity walk

RAWALPINDI, Feb 05 (APP):On the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day, the Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB) organized a large Kashmir Solidarity Walk on Bank Road, which saw enthusiastic participation, including Deputy Executive Officer Nasir Kamal, nominated Cantonment Board member Zahid Iqbal Bakhtawari, representatives of the Anjuman-e-Tajiran, Cantonment Board officers and staff and a large number of citizens.
The primary purpose of the walk was to express strong solidarity with the Kashmiri people and to raise a voice against the ongoing Indian atrocities in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
Participants carried banners and placards inscribed with slogans in support of the Kashmiri people’s right to self-determination. The atmosphere echoed with powerful slogans in support of the Kashmiri people.
Addressing the participants, Deputy Executive Officer Nasir Kamal said that February 5 is a day for the entire Pakistani nation to renew its firm resolve to stand shoulder to shoulder with the Kashmiri people in their legitimate struggle for freedom. He highlighted that for several decades, Kashmiris have been enduring Indian oppression, violence, and grave violations of human rights, and expressed regret over the silence of the international community on these atrocities.
He reaffirmed that Pakistan will continue to extend its moral, political, and diplomatic support to the Kashmiri people at every level. He emphasized that Pakistan will keep highlighting the Kashmiri struggle for the right to self-determination on all international forums.
He also urged the younger generation to play an active role in keeping the Kashmir issue alive and in shaping global public opinion in favor of justice for Kashmiris.
At the conclusion of the walk, special prayers were offered for the martyrs of Kashmir, seeking elevation of their ranks, patience and solace for their families, and early freedom for the Kashmiri people.
The participants expressed their unwavering commitment to continue supporting the Kashmiri cause at every level and to stand firmly with them until the realization of their just demands.
