RAWALPINDI, Nov 07 (APP):The Rawalpindi Police carried out multiple operations across the city, arresting 13 lawbreakers and recovering over 1.5 kilograms of hashish, 55 litres of liquor, illegal firearms with ammunition and kites, a police spokesman stated on Friday.
He said the New Town Police apprehended two individuals and recovered 1.83 kilograms of hashish and 5 litres of liquor. Waris Khan Police also conducted an operation against a kite supplier, arresting the suspect and seizing 15 kites and four kite strings.
Similarly, the Civil Lines Police arrested one person and seized 20 litres of liquor, Bani Police recovered 15 litres from another suspect, Peeru Dhai Police recovered 10 litres, and Westridge Police recovered 5 litres.
Meanwhile, in operations conducted in the jurisdictions of Ratta Amral, Pirwadhai, Wah Cantt, Women Police, and Dhamial, six individuals possessing illegal arms and ammunition were detained.
The Waris Khan Police also arrested a kite supplier, recovering 15 kites and four strings.
