RAWALPINDI, Jul 22 (APP):The Punjab government has fixed the tests fees for blood and dengue tests in the hospitals and labs. The Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Department has issued a notification mentioning the rates as CBC tests at Rs. 90.0 per prescription by a qualified doctor, and ELISA NS-1, IgG, IgM tests at Rs.1500.0 maximum.
According to the notification, the labs must submit reports within 24 hours, detailing the machine used, certified reagents, and batch numbers to ensure transparency.
The new rates will remain applicable for one year.
