PESHAWAR, Jul 10 (APP):Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Khan Gandapur on Thursday reiterated the government’s commitment to strengthening the public health system.
During a visit to the Peshawar Institute of Cardiology (PIC) here he assured that institutions like PIC would receive full support to further enhance their capabilities and continue providing state-of-the-art healthcare to the public.
Earlier he inspected various departments of PIC including the academic block, and the skills lab.
The Chief Minister was briefed on the medical services being provided at the hospital.
He also met with the hospital staff and praised their dedication and performance.
Emphasizing the importance of healthcare delivery, he directed that no negligence should be tolerated in patient care and instructed authorities to ensure timely completion of all ongoing projects.
