RAWALPINDI, Jan 30 (APP): The Pirwadhai Police arrested the prime suspect involved in the kidnapping and murder of a citizen, a Rawalpindi Police spokesman said on Friday.
He said the suspect had abducted the victim over a personal grudge along with his wife and other accomplices. The victim was later strangled to death, after which his body was dumped into Nala Leh.
The spokesman said a case regarding the kidnapping of the citizen had been registered at the Pirwadhai Police Station, adding that one accomplice of the arrested suspect had already been taken into custody earlier.
Superintendent of Police, Rawal, Saad Arshad said the arrested suspect would be challaned with solid evidence to ensure that he was awarded punishment according to law.
