Police launches crackdown against drug peddlers, 5 suspects arrested with narcotics
ATTOCK, Jan 14 (APP):The police on Wednesday conducted successful operations in different areas of the district against drug peddlers and arrested five accused while recovering a huge quantity of narcotics.
The police spokesman said that a police team led Sub-Inspector, Wali Muhammad, Khurd Police Station during a checking operation recovered hashish 4,000 grams from a suspect identified as Noor Khan .
Similarly, Sub-Inspector Taif Kamran of Fateh Jang Police, along with his team, recovered hashish 1,560 grams from Atif Nauman,a resident of Kohat living in Fateh Jang.
In another operation, a police team under supervision of Sub-Inspector Khurram Shehzad, Hazro Police station, recovered hashish 1,150 grams from an outlaw namely Salman.
Meanwhile, the Sadar police recovered liquor 10 litres from Nizamullah, a resident of Dhoke Jaunda, Attock, the Basal Police arrested a suspect namely Abid Mahmood and recovered liquor 13 litres from his possession.
Separate cases had been registered against all the accused and further investigations were underway, he added.
