RAWALPINDI, Oct 20 (APP): Police have arrested two proclaimed offenders (POs) wanted in multiple cases of motorcycle snatching at gunpoint and vehicle theft during crackdown on Monday.
According to SP Potohar Talha Wali, the police team apprehended the suspects through effective use of technical and human intelligence.
During the operation, a snatched motorcycle and Rs. 400,000, obtained from the sale of a stolen vehicle were recovered from their possession. SP Talha Wali commended police team for their swift action stated that a separate case has been registered against the accused and further investigation is underway.
SP said that the arrested offenders will be presented in court with solid evidence.
He urged citizens to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the police helpline 15 or the nearest police station. He made it clear that it is prime duty of police to protect the lives and properties of people.
